Did you know that love is a much stronger motivation than fear? Fear has torment and most Christians seem to be tormented by fear. We try and serve God, fall short, and then our conscious condemns us.
There are a lot of tormented Christians who love God but are not absolutely confident that He loves them. The reason for this is that they live in an Old Testament Law based mentality and feel as if they must earn God’s love.
We have been forgiven of all of our sins!
We have been sanctified and made holy by the blood of Jesus!
Sin will give Satan an inroad into our body and soul but our spirits are sealed. Our spirits are holy and pure. God is spirit and He relates to us in the spirit.
Our relationship with God is based on who we are in the Spirit and not on who we are in the flesh.
A revelation of this message does not free people to sin but it will free them from sin!
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men.Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world.
Titus 2:11-12
The grace of God will cause us to live Holy lives. It does not free us to sin or live as we like!
This may be a totally different way to view Christianity than a lot of us are familiar with. I understand that but have also seen how what seems to be a large percentage of Christians continuously struggle with sin and failure in their lives. Jesus died to free us from the weights that keep us down in life!
There are few Christians who do not believe that God can work a miracle in their lives. We believe this but still struggle with receiving one in our life!
We need to change our attitude towards God and this must begin with a Scripturally based revelation of who we are in Christ Jesus!
God has wiped out all of sins and is not mad at us.We are just as holy and pure as Jesus is in the Spirit.
Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Amos 3:3
If God is seeing us righteous in the spirit and we are seeing ourselves as a total failure then we are not in agreement. There will not be fellowship and we will not be able to develop a deep relationship with God. I believe that this is where the majority of us are missing it today.
People struggle in their relationship with God without realizing that it is their own sin consciousness that is keeping Him at arms length!
We know God exists. We have received His free gift of salvation. How many of us are enjoying the benefits of our salvation?
Can you believe that God will heal your body?
Can you believe that God wants to prosper you?
Can you believe that God wants to fellowship with you?
We must not allow the devil or our conscious to condemn us in these areas. God loves us so much that He sent Jesus as our sacrificial lamb upon which the penalty for our individual sins have been laid. Jesus bore our sins and through His blood we have access to the very presence of God!
