Acknowledging Every Good Thing That God Has Put In Us

God has put His power inside of our spirit. If we are not experiencing His power it is not because He has not released it.

We must develop a revelation of who we are and what God has provided for us.

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. (Philemon 1:6)

Paul prayed for Philemon to receive a revelation of “every good thing” that had been deposited in his spirit. Our faith becomes “effectual” when we acknowledge everything that God has deposited in our spirits.

Do you want your faith to become effective?

Do you want to experience the miraculous power of God in your life?

The first step into the miraculous is for us to begin to acknowledge all of the good things that God has already deposited inside of our spirit.

Paul did not tell us that our faith will be “effectual” by believing in what God can do. I believe that our problem is not with believing in what God can do. We all believe He can work miracles but how many of us believe in what He has already deposited in us when we became a Christian?

It all starts with developing a revelation of who we are in Christ Jesus. This is not something we are going to become! We must go back to the Word and allow the Holy Spirit to enlighten the eyes of our spiritual understanding to the work that has been completed inside of our spirit.

Many Christians think of themselves as nothing more than a sinner who was saved by grace. We are not sinners! There is not a single trace of sin left in the spirit of a Christian.

It is true that we were sinners. I am not denying this but the Bible makes it clear that we are now the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The proper way to view yourself is that you were a sinner, you were saved by grace, and you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!

We are going to delve deeper into these truths as we progress in this discussion. For now I will just say that even though my body or soul may sin, that sin will not enter into my spirit. This does not mean that we can live anyway that we want.

If you have received Christ in your heart then your spirit has been recreated, sanctified, and made perfect!

In the spirit you are in perfect fellowship with God!

You have all power and ability but we must learn to acknowledge the work that God has accomplished in our spirits!
