Examining Our Motives

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:3)

The Church has far too many people who are doing all the right things for the wrong reasons. We have lost our power and the pews are full of hypocrites who don’t even know they have become hypocrites! Time is short and we must humble ourselves before God and become living sacrifices for His service.

The Hidden Place

But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ. (Galatians 1:11-12)

Paul did not preach the messages he heard someone else preaching. He taught the “revelation of Jesus Christ” that he received from the Holy Spirit during the time he was hidden away in Arabia.
