We Can Know The Holy Spirit

Jesus told us that the “world cannot receive” the Holy Spirit. He did not say that they would not receive Him. The world is oblivious to the Holy Spirit. Jesus provided us for two reasons why. First, they cannot see Him and secondly, they do not know Him.

Jesus had spent three to three and a half years with His disciples. They had traveled together, experienced every miracle together, and seen multitudes touched. If anyone should have been ready to launch out into the ministry it would have been the disciples.

Examining Our Motives

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:3)

The Church has far too many people who are doing all the right things for the wrong reasons. We have lost our power and the pews are full of hypocrites who don’t even know they have become hypocrites! Time is short and we must humble ourselves before God and become living sacrifices for His service.
