Holy Spirit Encounters

Over the years I’ve read the accounts of many ministers who have had amazing encounters with God that changed their lives in a moment of time. These accounts stir our hearts and I longed for a similar encounter early in my ministry. There have been moments where the Holy Spirit has touched me deeply but I’ve never had an encounter similar to the accounts I’ve read about. Over the years I’ve observed that many Christians do not understand the role this has in our being able to successfully discover and pursue the plan of God. If we are unable to see into the spirit realm, we will never find the path God laid out for us to walk. This will result in our walking from path to path without ever ending up on the right one and this is why so many Christians wonder through life frustrated with their journey. The imagination is so important that I believe our ability to succeed in this journey is absolutely dependent on our ability to become visionaries.
