Keys to Unlocking The Plan Of God Part 25

There are some people who desire to walk in the plan of God. They struggle with discovering it though because of a lack of submission to God’s plan. For example, most people know they are supposed to give but do not because of needs that are perceived to be more important.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Romans 12:1

We have been discussing becoming living sacrifices. This is something many Christians fail at. The obey God if there is a perceived advantage to doing so. If something looks like it may not be easy these will often draw back. God is a good God and we serve Him regardless of the perceived outcome because He is faithful and will always lead us in the right direction.

There are people who know they have been called to a certain ministry or place of service. It is not convenient for them at this time so they’ve put off the call. Maybe they are waiting until a bill is paid off or until their children graduate college. They are not living sacrifices.

The heart of God’s plan for our lives is for us to become living sacrifices. If we do that and if we renew our minds to His Word, we would literally have to backslide to keep from seeing His “good, acceptable, and perfect” plan from coming to pass in our lives.

Christians need a revelation of the fact that God is more concerned with the state of our hearts than our heads or the development of our talents.

People will spend years developing their talents for worldly pursuits but only minutes seeking God. He is not searching the earth for silver vessels. His desire is not for what we can give or do but for surrendered vessels.

If we will commit to our lives to God, He will lead us on the path that will lead to promotion. Things will work for us and we will reach levels of success previously unimaginable from a place of total surrender!
