By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Grace involves all that God has provided in Jesus for us. Faith is our response which gives us access to what has already been given.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
Ephesians 2:8
Many are still working on the giving part. They are trying to get God to give them what He has already provided in Christ Jesus.
“Father please give me my healing.”
Similar prayers like this one are being offered up every day. They are not biblically based. Healing has been provided by grace but must be received by faith.
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.
2 Peter 1:3
God has provided for our every need. We access His supply through His Word. He is unable to answer any prayer that is not based on Scripture or that seeks Him to provide what has already been provided by Jesus.
A lot of praying involves wasted motion. It is not founded in the Word of God and therefore is not offered from a position of faith.
Our part in prayer is faith. We lay hold of the promises of God by faith and receive them.
Grace has already given us everything that pertains to our life and godliness.
Faith has already blessed us with every blessing in Christ Jesus. Through faith we have access to salvation, blessing, prosperity, healing, fullness of the Holy Spirit, and everything else provided by Jesus’ redemptive work.
