Keys to Unlocking The Plan Of God Part 12

There are far too many Christians living with a defeatist attitude accepting whatever the devil throws at them. It is time for us to recognize God has a plan for each and every one of our lives.

God wants us to discover His will for our lives more than we want to find it. He desires for us to live lives filled with His blessing but will not force us into it.

There are things that each one of us can do to draw the power of God to us. We are going to begin talking about them in this post and then continue through the remainder of this series.

Many of us have struggled with identifying the plan of God. The change for myself came when I humbly approached Him and repented for living so many years without knowing His will.

This is a point where we realize that it will not be possible to continue living without an assurance that what we are doing is in His perfect will. It is vital for us to come to this point because a person who can live satisfied outside of the plan of God will not pursue it.

This is the reason so many have stopped with the permissive will of God. They arrive on the edge of their promised land and become satisfied. It is this satisfaction that will keep them from ever entering into the fullness of what God has planned for them.

If we continue pursuing the presence of God, we will come to a place of unwillingness to continue living outside of the presence of God.The moment we make a quality decision to seek God is the moment that our direction will begin to change.

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
2 Timothy 1:12

God is faithful. He will keep whatever we commit to Him.

It all begins with a willingness to commit our lives to God. This can be as simple as saying, “God, I present myself to you. I give you my life and ask you to save me.” I realize this is not a complicated or theological prayer but it is all that is needed.

Are you willing to make a commitment to find God’s will for your life?

Are you willing to pay whatever price is necessary to enter into His plan?

If you are then He will be faithful to lead you into the fullness of all He has called you to do!

God will reveal Himself and His will to us. We just need to take the first step and turn our eyes to Him.
