Did you know that it is a good thing in God’s eyes to have a thankful heart. God has given us so much.
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.
2 Peter 1:3
God has provided us with every thing we will ever need in life. I encourage you to take time to put aside all of your requests and thoughts about your and your families needs. We often carry those thoughts into our prayer time creating a constant conversation with God about our needs.
Try focusing today instead on being thankful for all that He has done for you. He brought you out of sin and Peter tells us that He has provided for everything “pertaining to life and godliness”.
We have a lot to be thankful for. I encourage you to focus on what your heavenly father has done for you today. You will find that something supernatural will occur in this time of thankfulness before God.
With praise and thanksgiving they sang to the Lord. He is good; his love toward Israel endures forever.And all the people gave a great shout of praise to the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid.
Ezra 3:11
I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High.

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
