How To Receive Healing Part 10

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Romans 4:21

The persuaded heart will not be discouraged when healing does not manifest immediately. It will be able to stand because it is a heart grounded in the Word of God.

“Father, I thank you that I have received my healing.”

We ask the Father for our healing in the name of Jesus and then we praise Him for the answer.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:18

The promises of God are eternal. Our symptoms are temporary.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.
2 Corinthians 5:7

To walk by faith is to walk by God’s Word.

To walk by “sight” is to walk by the input of our five physical senses.

Faith is the doorway through which we enter into a position of becoming fully persuaded that God will honor His Word.

“Father I thank you for my healing. I believe that you heard me when I prayed.”

We pray to the Father in Jesus name and then we praise. This is the method to be used if our desire is to put our sickness behind us.

So the first method of receiving healing is to demand it as our right in Jesus name. This was based on Jesus’ statement in John 14:

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
John 14:13

We saw in that the word translated “ask” could also be translated “demand”. The lame man’s healing in Acts 3 was used as a case study.

The second method of receiving healing is to ask the father in Jesus name.

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
John 16:23

In the next post we will begin to talk about the third method, the prayer of agreement. Thank you for stopping by today. If this post has been a blessing please share our blog with your friends and family.
