Did you know that you can live an unlimited life that is led and directed by the Holy Spirit?
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Romans 8:14
Paul tells us that sons and daughters of God should be led by the Spirit of God. I say “should be” because so many Christians seem to know nothing about the Holy Spirit. They see Him as some impersonal force. He is a very knowable person who will guide us through life if we will take the time to build a relationship with Him.
We are starting a new series in this post that will be focused on the Holy Spirit with a goal of us learning more about Him as a person. If your desire is to be more aware of His presence in your life then I encourage you to follow the blog if you are not already doing so to ensure you will be notified every time a new post is added.
It is possible for us to develop a close relationship with the Holy Spirit. Each one of us can become sensitized to His leadings to the point that His slightest nudge will cause us to turn in the direction He is leading us to. This will cause us to be in the right place at the right time again and again.
It is impossible for any of us to ever have all of the information needed to make the right decisions. Our understanding is limited and we can never know enough to understand exactly what direction we should take. The Holy Spirit’s knowledge is unlimited.
This is a short post because our goal is to introduce the new series of posts. We will pick up in the next one and begin to look at some of Jesus’ statements in John 14, 15, and 16. These chapters contain His last instructions to the disciples before the cross and therefore should be studied very carefully. I look forward to our journey ahead and encourage you to join me on this exciting journey into the realm of the Holy Spirit!
