Did you know that you have a realm of influence that God has called you to walk in? There are people who know you that I will never be able to reach. Every person who will read this post has a group of people they are called to that no one else can reach the way they can.
It is not just a matter of what is or is not convenient for us. We need to recognize that someone is watching us. There are people under our realms of influence that may leave this earth without receiving Jesus because we were more concerned with our favorite television program than their soul.
The Church is in desperate need of people who will be willing to stand up for the truth of God’s Word. I am talking about bold men and women who are willing to go against the streams of tradition and carnal thinking that has bound the Church.
We can do the things that Jesus said we can do. It is time for us to recognize this and step out of our comfort zones. Nothing will happen without our participation. We can pray for God to send someone else but He is calling us to go.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
Acts 1:8
I am not saying we can manipulate God. He is God and we are not. He does have a plan for our lives that will not come to pass without us pursuing it.
Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2 Timothy 1:6-7
It is our responsibility to stir ourselves up. God will not do it for us! It will not be until we start to push into the Word of God that we will see the plan of God begin to manifest in our lives. The question for each one of us is whether we will continue to accept status quo or become sick and tired of living out of the plan of God.
Do you want your life to count?
Do you want to experience the abundant life that God has planned for you?
God cannot bring His perfect will to pass in your life until you begin to stir yourself up and pursue it. In a sense, you are the initiator of the plan in your own life.
God has a plan but we have to pursue it. It will not manifest without our cooperation and consent.
He has a plan for each of our lives that is much bigger than any of us can begin to imagine. We are not seeing it come to pass simply because we have not embraced it and begun to pursue it.
There are things that God has called me to accomplish. Some of these I have not begun to enter into because I have not grown and matured to the point where I am able to do them.
Some parts of the plan will require us to grow in our walk with God before He can trust us to walk in them. We will sometimes get glimpses of things that are not for today. If we are not careful, there is a danger of becoming complacent and expecting everything to happen in the future.
