Jesus desires a relationship with us and will accept us where we are. He will always meet us where we are.
Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. (Matthew 9:29)
And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought. (Mark 8:23)
When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay (John 9:6)
In these verses we see three different ways that Jesus ministered healing. Each person was in a different place and He me them where they were. There is no cookie cutter method of ministry that will reach everyone!
I have learned over the years that God will always meet us where we are. There are people who believe they have to struggle through life and God will meet them where they are. He will work in their hearts to bring them to a higher level but will not reject them if they insist on staying where they are.
It would be difficult to determine who the Christian was if they were put into a room full of unsaved people and had the average commitment level seen in most churches today. They would probably be suffering from the same sicknesses and struggling financially just as the unsaved people.
