Seeking God With Our Whole Heart

If we will seek God with all of our hearts we will find His plan. The question for each of us is whether we are seeking Him with our whole hearts or just trying to placate Him with a few minutes here or there when we can squeeze Him into our busy schedules.

For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars. (2 Chronicles 16:9)

God is looking for people who are seeking Him with all of their hearts. God is with you as you read the words of this post. Are you willing to let Him be God over every area of your life?

We will find God if we will seek Him with our whole heart. There are no exceptions! There are people who will say that they tried this and did not find God. I’ve heard the excuses, and have even made many of them myself. If we are not finding God we are not seeking Him with our whole heart. There are no exceptions!

God has a plan for each one of our lives. He will not force us into the plan because He wants us to choose to seek Him.

We have seen in the previous posts that God will be limited in our lives only by ourselves. He has a plan for our lives but He will be limited in how it is fulfilled by the choices that we make!

One of the most amazing revelations I’ve ever received is that God will be limited by our view of Him. He will only be as big in our lives as we think He is.

God is limitless. He is who He is regardless of how we view Him. He respects our freewill and will not move in our lives if we do not invite Him to.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (Matthew 11:29)

Jesus described Himself as “meek and lowly in heart”. He is not aggressive and will not force Himself into our lives. It is our choice to either invite Him or not to.

Jesus is waiting for us to invite Him into our lives. We are the only ones who can open the door to our heart for His Holy Spirit to enter in.
